On the occasion of the centenary celebrations of Prince Rainier III (1923-2023), the Oceanographic Museum presents the new permanent exhibition titled “The Prince and the Mediterranean.” Through this exhibition, the Oceanographic Institute pays tribute to the unwavering bond that united Prince Rainier III to the Ocean, especially the Mediterranean. Visitors are invited to board his boat Deo Juvante II. Guided by the voice of H.S.H. Princess Stéphanie, they will move through four exploratory and intimate spaces, discovering one after another the different facets of this Prince passionate about the Mare Nostrum.

From Wednesday, January 10, to Sunday, January 14, 2024, in the Bay of Monaco, the 14th edition of the Monaco Optimist Team Race will take place, featuring the cream of international Optimist teams. A total of 72 competitors under the age of 14 will represent 17 nations. Unlike fleet regattas, the races will take the form of duels between four-person teams. In total, 153 legs will take place in the waters off Monaco, each requiring great tactical skill and finesse. To prepare for the competition and perfect their team racing abilities, the competitors already present can participate in an International Clinic (January 8-10), under the supervision of the international World Sailing judge and referee, Chris Atkins.

With her heart failing and her life in the balance, the medical team decides to place her on a cardiopulmonary bypass machine. On stage, the machine and the medical team are portrayed by a nurse/musician. So strange for a heart to fail at the tender age of 29…
