Surrounded by actors and partners committed to the cause of women in Monaco, the Committee for the Promotion and Protection of Women’s Rights will celebrate International Women’s Day on March 8, 2024, at the Léo Ferré space. The event will take place from 9:00 to 20:00 and will highlight the commitment of the Principality to women’s rights.

“Our desire is to showcase the strength of the Monegasque collective committed to women’s rights, hence the name ‘PowHer,’ which values the past and future actions of the actors in the principality. The event will take place throughout the day, in a unique location, for a common cause. It will be a beautiful celebration open to everyone,” explains Céline Cottalorda, interministerial delegate for women’s rights.

Thus, associations and partners of the Committee have been invited to animate this day with stands, conferences, or roundtable discussions, and interactive workshops that will address the theme of women through four topics: education, health, sports, and work. Additionally, a wish tree will be installed, allowing each person present to leave a message in favor of women’s rights.

The day will conclude with a spectacle featuring two concerts and a unique light and sound show. Admission is free throughout the event. The program is available at: https://dfm.mc/evenement/programme-8-mars-2024/
