From March 1st to 10th, 2024, the Festival Femmes en Scènes will celebrate its fifteenth anniversary expressing its eternal desire: to highlight female creation. Sung, danced, acted, it will be celebrated especially in theaters, museums, cultural centers, in the cinémathèque… in Nice and Beaulieu-sur-Mer.
Events open to ALL will be held, among others, at the Francis-Gag Theater for committed artistic proposals, with diverse aesthetics.

The Francis-Gag Theater hosted an introduction to clowning course for cycle 3 students specializing in theater at the Nice Conservatory. For a week, the 9 students explored clowning as a state of being “more than present.” On the agenda: a journey through states of life, awakening, imagination, self-discovery, and finally, the risk of bringing out “one’s” clown. A workshop led by Peggy Mahieu, theater teacher at the Regional Conservatory of Toulon, and co-founder of the Écho Company.
