The 52nd edition of the Salon d’Art Moderne, Art Contemporain, Design et Métiers d’Art in Antibes will take place from April 12 to April 21, 2024. During this event, Fine Arts will blend with Decorative Arts, Design, and Crafts.
Works, signed by some of the most eminent artists of the 20th century or the contemporary art scene, will collide with antiques from every era.
The 2024 edition promises to be even larger and more captivating following the success of the 2023 edition, which saw the sale of significant works, including paintings by Hans Hartung, Bernard Buffet, Tom Wesselmann, sculptures by Bernar Venet and César, important archaeological finds, vintage furniture, and exquisite historical objects and jewelry.
The fair further expands its exhibition space, now reaching 3,500 square meters.
The number of exhibitors will be limited to 100 participants, adhering to the new selection criteria in place for three editions.
The exhibition’s opening will, as always, be the international meeting point for art enthusiasts on the French Riviera and the major spring event that marks the beginning of the summer season. Exhibitors have already announced the presence of exceptional pieces, knowing that this exhibition attracts a unique and cosmopolitan clientele eager to fall in love with paintings by great masters, historical or contemporary masterpieces, design objects, or unusual items that will complement their collections or enhance the decoration of penthouses, villas, and yachts.
Works by the most important artists of the 20th century or the contemporary scene will be accompanied by rare and sublime furniture and objects.
In the field of design and craftsmanship, after the success of the inaugural participation last year, the WDA (Week of Design and Arts) will occupy an even more significant space within the Antibes Art Fair. As in every edition, over 20,000 passionate visitors will gather in Antibes to discover some of the most beautiful pieces currently available on the art market: modern art, contemporary art, antique jewelry, furniture, and design objects, antiques. In all areas: authenticity, beauty, rarity, and originality will be the keywords.
The Salon d’Antibes has become an international reference and remains unique in its atmosphere, the artworks presented, and its cosmopolitan clientele. On the shores of the Mediterranean, the elegant corridors of the fair transform the stands into genuine galleries.
Royalty and industry leaders discreetly mingle with simple enthusiasts. Exhibitors reserve their most exceptional pieces for this event that attracts collectors and enthusiasts from around the world.
