
Menton confirms its status as one of the most attractive destinations on the French Riviera for food and wine lovers with an immersive evening experience dedicated to wine tasting and Provençal culinary traditions.
The experience offers a guided itinerary through local producers, selected wine bars and historic cellars in the town centre, with a special focus on citrus-infused wines and regional specialties.
The event runs until 31 October 2026, from Tuesday to Saturday, between 6:00 PM and 9:00 PM, and is closed on Mondays and Sundays. The experience is organized in small groups (maximum 10 participants) to ensure an intimate and high-quality journey.
The wine tour begins at a local producer specializing in citrus wines, inspired by the iconic lemons of Menton. Here, participants taste three aromatic wines infused with citrus notes, a signature element of the city’s identity.
The experience continues with a stop at a carefully selected wine bar, where three Provençal wines are served: white, rosé and red. This stage highlights the richness and diversity of regional wine production.
A guided walking tour through Menton’s historic centre is also included, covering approximately one kilometre. The guide shares stories about the city, its cultural heritage and its strong connection to local gastronomy.
The third part of the experience takes place in an elegant cellar in the town centre, where participants enjoy another tasting of three wines from a Provençal appellation, again in white, rosé and red varieties.
The wines are paired with local cheeses and cured meats, enhancing the connection between wine and regional gastronomy. During this stage, guests also receive an introduction to basic wine tasting techniques in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere.
The experience concludes with a tasting of the traditional Menton lemon cake, the city’s most iconic dessert.
The experience includes a total of nine wines, carefully selected from local producers and Provençal wine estates. All tastings and food pairings are included in the price of €115 per person.
Participants also have the opportunity to purchase wines directly from the partner locations.
