During winter, Antibes slows down. Days are quieter, the light softer, and the city invites visitors and locals to explore at a gentle pace, following a cultural program that spans the entire season, intertwining art, music, theatre, sport, and memory. The story begins with the arrival of winter and reaches its most intense moments between late February and early March.
From the beginning of the season, exhibitions mark the slow rhythm of the city. At Transartcafé, a show that interacts with the urban fabric is open until 28 February.
At Les Arcades, two parallel exhibitions run throughout the season:
Antibes, ma vision, ma passion, open until 28 February,
Natures vivantes, continuing until 28 March, closing the winter season with a reflection on art and nature.
On the historical and archaeological front, the Musée d’Archéologie d’Antibes hosts L’objet du moment: la tablette en plomb d’Antipolis, mythe et réalité until 1 March, highlighting the city’s Roman past. Simultaneously, at Casemate Comte, 50 nuances de bleu explores the infinite shades of a colour deeply connected to the Mediterranean.
Also, until 26 June 2026, the Archives Municipales d’Antibes present C’est ainsi qu’Antibes est aussi ma Ville, a display exploring the city’s identity and urban memory.
Music accompanies Antibes throughout the season with the Les Professors en Scène series at the Conservatoire de musique et d’art dramatique d’Antibes. Until 23 March, teachers take the stage for concerts open to the public, turning education into performance and highlighting local artistic talent.
Winter is also theatre season. Until 28 February, the Théâtre du Tribunal presents François Guédon part en campagne, a play combining irony and topicality.
Shortly after, until 1 March, at Théâtre Antibea, Bérénice brings a classical story to life, focusing on passion, dialogue, and inner conflict.
As February comes to a close, the city comes alive with participatory and sports events. Until 28 February, the Espace Croix Rouge hosts the Repair Café participatory workshop, combining sustainability and community engagement.
Saturday 28 February is particularly busy:
At the Gymnase Pierre Brochard, the Top 12 Men’s Gymnastics match takes place between OAJLP Gym and Noisy-le-Grand;
At Salle Saint-Claude, the Nuit du hand – winter edition brings handball action to the stage;
The same day, at the Ancienne école de la Croix Rouge, the JAM de La sChOOL offers a space for improvisation and collective music-making.
The season closes with one last musical event: Sunday 1 March, ⚡️THE SILENCE – Depeche Mode Tribute⚡️ energizes the city with a concert blending nostalgia and intensity, signaling the approach of spring.
With a rich yet well-paced program, Antibes demonstrates that culture thrives even in the colder months. Exhibitions, concerts, theatre, sport, and participatory projects unfold week by week, offering visitors a chance to experience a more intimate, authentic side of the city.
An invitation to slow down, observe, and follow stories, emotions, and creativity, where shared memory meets new forms of expression.
