Monaco never ceases to amaze: art, shows, music and culture enliven the Principality even in the last weekend of August 2025. From major theatre festivals to exhibitions dedicated to 20th-century masters, beach concerts and contemporary installations, the city offers experiences for every taste.
Until 27 August, Monaco hosts the 18th edition of the Mondial du Théâtre, the international festival that turns the Principality into the capital of amateur theatre. Companies from all over the world perform on Boulevard Albert Ier, bringing stories that range from tradition to experimentation in a cosmopolitan atmosphere.

On Saturday 23 August, Sai Galaxy ft Oby Onyioha bring their afro-funk grooves to Larvotto Beach, while the L’Été au Port festival continues at Port Hercule until 24 August with concerts, games and Mediterranean food.
Sunday evening offers a more intimate setting: local singer-songwriter Olivia Dorato performs at the Café de Paris Monte-Carlo, inside the legendary Hôtel de Paris.
At the Opera Gallery Monaco, the Monaco Masters Show celebrates Marc Chagall and Fernand Léger with an exhibition on colour and form. At the Grimaldi Forum, Monaco and the Napoleons: crossed destinies retraces the historical ties between the Grimaldis and the Napoleonic saga.
Meanwhile, the Stade Louis-II marks its 40th anniversary with Il était une première fois, a journey through photos, memorabilia and iconic sporting moments.
At the Prince’s Car Collection Museum, visitors can admire the futuristic Venturi Astrolab solar prototype and the Venturi Space exploration vehicle (until 2 September).
Environmental awareness is at the centre of Demain l’Océan ?, combining a youth workshop programme and an exhibition at Quai Antoine Ier, inviting reflection on the future of our oceans.
The Principality also pays tribute to its icons. At Place du Palais, the exhibition Grace celebrates Princess Grace Kelly, while at the Café de Paris, the maison Buccellati marks 50 years in Monaco with a glittering jewellery showcase.
The Nouveau Musée National de Monaco offers two captivating shows: Coco Chanel and the Roaring Twenties at Villa Paloma, and CACTUS at Villa Sauber, exploring the dialogue between nature and contemporary art.
