For the third consecutive year, the Department of Urban Planning, through its Gardens Section, is organizing the Week-end Nature on Saturday 11 and Sunday 12 October 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., at the heart of Mareterra, Monaco’s new waterfront district.
This year’s edition, themed “Explorer”, invites the public to discover the behind-the-scenes of Mareterra’s landscape design, an emblematic district of the Principality conceived with a sustainable approach and respect for biodiversity.
Throughout the two days, teams from the Department of Urban Planning will host a variety of free workshops open to all, both children and adults:
Planting layout game;
Eco-creative workshops: plant arrangements, repotting;
Discovery walk through the district and its green spaces.
These educational activities will allow visitors to better understand the design choices, the selection of plant species, and the environmental challenges associated with this eco-responsible new neighborhood.
Dates: Saturday 11 and Sunday 12 October 2025
Opening hours: 10:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
Location: Mareterra – Principality of Monaco
