On the occasion of the major 2025 motor racing events – the 15th Grand Prix de Monaco Historique, the 10th and 11th Monaco E-Prix, and the 83rd Formula 1 Louis Vuitton Grand Prix de Monaco – the Principality of Monaco will temporarily adapt its road network to allow for the installation, operation and dismantling of the city circuit.
The three events will take place respectively from 24 to 26 April, on 16 and 17 May, and from 4 to 7 June. As a result, from 23 February until mid-July, significant changes to traffic circulation and parking will be implemented across several areas of the city.
Route de la Piscine
A one-way traffic system will be in place from 23 February to 5 July. During specific periods linked to the races and installation works, traffic will be completely prohibited.
Avenue J.F. Kennedy
Traffic conditions will vary depending on the period. At certain times, a one-way system will operate between the Sainte-Dévote roundabout and the Quai des États-Unis, requiring vehicles coming from boulevard Louis II to head towards the harbour. At other times, turning towards the Quai des États-Unis will not be permitted, or the road will be fully closed to traffic.
Boulevard Louis II
Traffic will be suspended from the Portier junction during nights and days directly associated with the events.
Quai Albert Ier
Traffic will be entirely closed from 23 February until 17 July.
Quai des États-Unis
A one-way system will be introduced for several months, with variations depending on the period. During the main race events, the quay will be fully closed to traffic.
Quai Antoine Ier and Tunnel Rocher Antoine Ier
Temporary one-way traffic arrangements will be introduced, and the tunnel will be fully closed from 13 April to 21 June to allow the installation of race infrastructure.
Throughout the preparation and event period, parking will be prohibited in numerous key locations, including the Darse Sud, Route de la Piscine, Quai Albert Ier, boulevard Louis II, Avenue J.F. Kennedy and Quai des États-Unis. Additional streets and public areas, such as Esplanade des Pêcheurs and Avenue de Monte-Carlo, will also be affected progressively, with restrictions starting between March and April.
After the events, traffic conditions will gradually return to normal. The dismantling of installations will continue until 17 July, by which time full road access and parking availability are expected to be restored.
