As in previous years, as the summer season approaches and in order to accommodate the many users of the Larvotto beach complex under the best conditions, general beach reshaping works will be carried out from April 15th to May 3rd to reduce the steepness that has greatly increased during the winter. This intervention, solely terrestrial, consists of leveling the gravel mound and will allow restoring a suitable morphology to the beach to ensure sufficient capacity and meet the security needs of access to bathing areas. In order to respect the balance of the marine biodiversity present on the site, this operation will be accompanied by the installation of retention nets on the water surface, at the bends, each of 120 meters. They will thus preserve the adjacent underwater reserve from sediments generated by the reshaping. For user protection, swimming will be prohibited for the entire duration of this intervention. However, the beach will remain accessible in sections, depending on the progress of the works which will be carried out from 7:30 am to 12:00 pm and from 2:00 pm to 6:30 pm. The restaurants and shops of the complex will remain open, without restriction. Throughout the season, regular maintenance will be carried out to maintain the width and gentle slope of the beach, without causing any new closures or inaccessibility for bathers.
