During the autumn school holidays, the Oceanographic Museum of Monaco invites families, children, and ocean lovers to embark on a unique multisensory journey.
From 18 October to 2 November 2025, visitors are invited to explore the “Mediterranean of the Future” through a cutting-edge exhibition, virtual reality experiences, and interactive workshops designed to learn while having fun.
Spread over 1,000 square metres, the exhibition takes visitors on a journey through time and space, from the Mediterranean of the past to an imagined future.
The highlight is a 16-minute immersive projection, aboard a futuristic submarine navigating through the Pelagos Sanctuary in 2050.
A 310 m² panoramic projection brings the ocean to life with turtles, fin whales, groupers, sharks, and Risso’s dolphins swimming in a regenerated and protected Mediterranean.
An inspiring journey that shows how today’s choices can build a sustainable future for the “Big Blue”.
Thanks to ImmerSEAve VR, visitors can experience a 13-minute virtual dive into a Mediterranean Marine Protected Area.
Equipped with VR headsets and sensory gear, they’ll explore Posidonia meadows, coral reefs, and seabeds down to 45 metres deep.
An experience that combines emotion and education, helping visitors understand the impact of conservation and imagine a vibrant, living sea.
For young explorers aged 6 to 12, the Ocean Club offers a week of fun discovery with games, science experiments, and creative activities.
A playful and engaging way to introduce children to science, nature, and ocean awareness.
With the “Tribe Offer”, the Museum invites families to enjoy an educational adventure at a special price: €69 for up to six people.
A perfect opportunity to share the magic of the ocean together, blending science, wonder, and emotion.
Beyond the exhibition and immersive adventures, the Museum offers daily workshops, meetings with experts, and animations for all ages.
An invitation to discover, marvel, and take action for the ocean, because — as the Museum reminds us — “the future of the Mediterranean begins with us.”
