This Tuesday, June 25th, Françoise Gamerdinger presented the 2024-2025 program of the Théâtre Princesse Grace, which she directs.

This season will feature 27 shows, including three off-site at the Grimaldi Forum. Two plays are scheduled with double dates: Dead Poets Society, which has been a great success on the Parisian stage, and 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea, created at the Comédie Française and awarded many times for its aesthetics and dreamlike universe. The kick-off for this new season will be with a troupe performance of Dom Juan, a mythical text by Molière written in 1665 and revisited in the 18th century by Macha Makeïeff. Remaining true to its artistic line, the TPG invites renowned actors known and recognized by critics and the general public for many years: Lorànt Deutsch, Michel Boujenah, Sophie Marceau, François Berléand, Stéphane Freiss, Richard Berry, Michel Fau, Yvan Attal, François Morel, Hugo Becker, Noémie Lvovsky, Stéphane de Groodt, Anne Consigny… Moreover, some artists will perform again to maintain a rich collaborative relationship: Hector Obalk (for a third master class on Modern Art), Sébastien Azzopardi…

The TPG will also have the pleasure of hosting a major exclusive in the region: Hugo Bardin, better known by his stage name Paloma, winner of Drag Race France season 1, will perform his solo show which has been an extraordinary success: Paloma aux PluriElles. Also, always keen to promote text and literary creation, renowned playwrights will present their new creations: Alexis Michalik (Passeport) and Léonore Confino (L’Effet Miroir), nominated for the 2024 Molières for best living francophone author. Finally, the program will obviously remain open to young audiences, with the children’s show Chut! Une pomme, and the emergence of more intimate creations like La Vie en vrai created by Marie Fortuit around the musical work of Anne Sylvestre, highlighting the artists of tomorrow. And finally, because theater will always stem from a moving thought, the TPG will continue to host the Ateliers des Rencontres Philosophiques throughout the year.

The bar foyer welcomes the public from 6 PM on performance nights, offering a friendly setting before the curtain rises. Subscription sales will begin on Monday, July 8th by mail or email, and in person at the theater from August 26th. Single tickets will be sold from Monday, September 2nd.
