Saint-Laurent-du-Var is preparing for a vibrant Summer 2026 filled with music, culture and entertainment. The French Riviera town offers a diverse programme designed for both residents and visitors, featuring beach concerts, traditional celebrations in the historic centre, family activities and open-air cinema screenings.

The goal is to create an inclusive and lively summer season that highlights both the coastal setting and the city’s cultural heritage.

Beach concerts and major music events

Among the highlights of Summer 2026 are the Beach Concerts, hosted on Cousteau Beach as part of the Beach Sport Festival.

On June 30, the Kiss FM Live event will bring well-known artists from the French music scene to the stage.

On July 7, the spotlight will shift to nostalgia with a special evening dedicated to the greatest hits from the 1970s to the 2000s, appealing to all generations.

National Day celebrations and fireworks

For France’s National Day celebrations, the city will host a special evening featuring Roddy Julienne, a rising star from The Voice 2026, performing blues, soul and rock classics.

The night will conclude with a spectacular fireworks display at 10:30 PM, one of the most anticipated moments of the summer along the coast.

Tribute shows and new summer events

August will open with a tribute to one of the most iconic voices in music history: on August 7, Joséphine Cosoleto will present “In the Footsteps of Amy”, a tribute concert to Amy Winehouse featuring a live band and backing singers, as part of the Soirées Estivales of the Alpes-Maritimes.

A new addition for 2026 is the Apéro des Frenchy, scheduled for August 8: a social evening combining street food and music, with a playlist entirely dedicated to French music from the 1970s to today.

On August 9, the city will host the first Firefighters’ Ball, a charity event featuring DJ sets, food trucks and entertainment. Proceeds will support the completion of the monument dedicated to Saint Barbara.

Feast of Saint Lawrence: tradition and community

On August 10, Saint-Laurent-du-Var will celebrate the traditional Feast of Saint Lawrence, the town’s patron saint.

The historic centre will host a full day of activities, including a treasure hunt, exhibitions, a religious procession, and community picnic.

In the evening, live music will take centre stage with performances by Mielles and Vipers Queen and Friends, one of Europe’s most popular Queen tribute bands.

Open-air cinema and family activities

Summer 2026 will also feature open-air cinema, with three free screenings across different neighbourhoods, encouraging community participation in relaxed outdoor settings.

In addition, the seafront and cultural spaces of the VillA will host workshops, meetings and activities for both children and adults, further enriching the summer programme.

A vibrant summer between sea, culture and community

Saint-Laurent-du-Var confirms its reputation as a dynamic event-driven destination, with a Summer 2026 that blends entertainment, tradition and social life.

The full programme is available in the city’s official event calendar.
