The Christmas spirit envelopes Shopping Promenade Riviera, which this year shines brighter and more spectacular than ever. Scenic installations, dazzling lights and impressive decorations turn the open-air center into an enchanting setting where shopping, dining and entertainment blend seamlessly.
The holiday season coincides with a period of major renewal for the complex. Among the most anticipated openings is a completely redesigned boutique by the Inditex group, expanded by 55%. A new flagship, set to open in the first quarter of 2026, will add a further 40% of space. Sports enthusiasts will also discover a refreshed store combining tradition and modernity.
Among the brands ready to welcome visitors are a 180 m² boutique dedicated to wellness and cosmetics inspired by ancient traditions, the expanded 1,200 m² JD Sports flagship, and the arrival of a Scandinavian women’s ready-to-wear brand known for its modern and accessible style.
The food scene is expanding with new concepts aimed at satisfying every palate: from the artisan crêpes of Atelier Artisan Crêpier to the soft Japanese pancakes of My Fluffy, the grilled specialties of La Brigade, the fish burgers of Père & Fish, the gourmet creations of Black and White, and the fast-food classics of KFC and O’Tacos. Completing the lineup are Greek grilled specialties at Berliner and the indulgent cookies from Jojo’s Dough.
Starting 27 November, the traditional Christmas market will welcome seven exhibitors offering jewellery, accessories, cashmere knitwear and Provençal sweets. Every December weekend will feature choirs, roaming performers and treats for children. The Santa Claus Village—complete with wooden chalets and a glowing mailbox for letters—will delight families, along with the traditional train offering a charming tour of the illuminated streets of the center.
Since 1 September 2025, the center has been led by Elodie Costa, an experienced professional in retail and commercial real estate. Her mission is to accelerate the repositioning of the complex, enhance the visitor journey and strengthen ties with the local community. A graduate in Marketing and Communication from EDC Paris Business School, Costa previously worked in prominent French commercial centers, including Aéroville and Polygone Riviera.
“Our goal is to be a place where commerce, culture and entertainment come together. With the innovations planned for 2026, we aim to enhance the retailtainment concept and deliver unique experiences to our visitors,” says the director.
Opened in 2015 and now part of the FREY group, Shopping Promenade Riviera stands as a key economic and tourist hub on the French Riviera. With 150 stores, 30 restaurants, a multiplex cinema and 70,000 m² of open-air space, the center embraces a sustainable retail model. As a pioneer of the Greencenter® concept and B Corp™ certified, it combines commercial innovation with environmental responsibility and commitment to the local community.
The magic of Christmas and the arrival of many new openings make this the perfect moment to rediscover Shopping Promenade Riviera.
