The village of Saint-Paul-de-Vence is preparing for an extraordinary December with “L’Écrin des Merveilles,” the theme guiding the Christmas 2025 celebrations. From 7 to 27 December, the town will be filled with lights, art, music, and events designed for children, families, and visitors, offering a rich programme of culture, creativity, and tradition.

Festivities begin on 7 December with the traditional Christmas Loto
The celebrations open on Sunday 7 December at 2:30 p.m. in the auditorium with the Christmas Loto, free entry. Gourmet baskets, champagne, panettoni, and sweets will be up for grabs. Part of the proceeds will be donated to the municipal CCAS.

Creative workshops and cultural evenings
On Wednesday 10 December, the media library will host the writing workshop “Create Your Letter to Santa Claus,” led by Claire Duprat (2–3:30 p.m., free with registration).
On Friday 12 December, at 8 p.m., a special Micro-Folie evening will feature the ballet Le Parc by Angelin Preljocaj, broadcast simultaneously thanks to the Opéra National de Paris (free entry, booking required).

13–14 December: the big “Noël des Enfants” weekend
The village will transform into a magical kingdom for children.
On Saturday 13, from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. in Place de Gaulle, families will enjoy free creative workshops, wooden games, inflatables, face painting, a photobooth, entertainment, and the long-awaited visit from Santa Claus.

Highlights of Saturday:

  • 11:00 – Children’s flashmob (recreation centre)

  • 14:00–15:00 – Choir of La Fontette school with the Saint-Paul-de-Vence Harmony

  • 14:30–15:30 – Storytime at the media library

  • 16:00 – Free show “L’apprenti sorcier et les éléments magiques” at the auditorium (booking required)

On Sunday 14 December at 2:00 p.m., the auditorium will screen the animated film Smallfoot.

Art and creativity between Micro-Folie and school events
On Wednesday 17 December, the media library will host a Micro-Folie workshop exploring artworks inspired by Christmas, followed by a creative session (2–3:30 p.m., free with registration).
On Thursday 18 December, at 6 p.m., the auditorium will present the school play “The Grinch Saves Christmas,” staged by pupils of La Fontette school in support of the Téléthon.

21 December: the return of the Truffle Market
On Sunday 21 December, Place de Gaulle will host the Marché de la Truffe (10 a.m.–6 p.m.): local products, tastings, truffle field visits, pony rides, a raffle, and live music.

Sporting finale: the 27 December Corrida of Saint-Paul-de-Vence
On Saturday 27 December, participants will race through the village with the traditional 8.8 km Corrida.

Race schedule:

  • 9:30 – Baby Corrida (0.2 km, under 7)

  • 9:45 – Kid’s Corrida (1 km, ages 7–11)

  • 10:00 – Ados Corrida (1.8 km, ages 11–15)

  • 10:15 – 8.8 km Corrida (ages 16+)

Tourist Office holiday activities
Throughout the festive period, the Tourist Office will offer:

  • Lantern-lit guided tours (26 December & 2 January, 5 p.m.)

  • “Suivez les étoiles” treasure hunt (19 December–5 January), free

  • Parent-child Christmas sablé workshops (26 December & 2 January)

  • Outdoor investigation game “Menace sur Noël” (28 December, 2–4 p.m.), €12 adults / €8 children
