The Department of Cultural Affairs has created a top-notch schedule for residents, families, tourists and young people alike. Every evening is an invitation to get outside, connect, and enjoy the season to the fullest.

🌙 “Les Nuits Laurentines”: seaside celebration

On July 13, the eve of Bastille Day, the Esplanade des Goélands will host the third edition of Les Nuits Laurentines. DJs, performers and festival vibes will lead to a breathtaking fireworks display at 10:30 PM over the sea—a night of rhythm, celebration and shared joy.

🎤 Tribute to Aretha Franklin: the voice of soul

As part of the Soirées Estivales, the Department of Alpes-Maritimes presents a stirring tribute to the queen of soul, Aretha Franklin. Legendary hits like Respect, Think and Natural Woman will transport the audience into the heart of American soul music.

⛪ Saint-Laurent’s Day: faith and festivity

The patron saint’s feast will be celebrated with a mix of sacred and popular events: a vintage motorcycle exhibition, treasure hunt for kids, mass and procession, and a big evening concert open to all. A heartfelt event bringing generations together in a spirit of tradition and joy.

🎶 Beach Concerts: sand, sound and stars

The Cousteau Beach will come alive with three not-to-be-missed evenings as part of the Beach Sport Festival:

• Kiss FM Live: with artists from the French pop scene

• Beach 90: a night of ’90s throwbacks

• Kendji Girac: the long-awaited return of the gipsy pop sensation

🎬 Cinema under the stars

With the Ciné Quartier series, open-air cinema will come to several neighborhoods with three free screenings. In partnership with CAP3000, more movie nights will be held right on Cousteau Beach, for a magical cinematic experience beneath the stars.

📚 Culture by the sea: books, markets and more

Throughout the summer, the seafront will host the Cabane à livres, a charming beachfront reading nook. Meanwhile, cultural events for all ages will take place at La villA, and Thursday and Sunday night markets, organized by the local merchants’ federation, will bring artisanal flair to the evening hours.
