Régates Royales de Cannes 2025: the return of the giants of the sea
La Croisette is ready to write a new chapter in the history of sailing. From September 21 to 27, 2025, the 47th edition of the Régates Royales will transform Cannes Bay into a unique stage, animated by the most elegant and legendary classic yachts from around the world.
With more than 120 yachts entered, a record at international level, the event confirms itself as the reference regatta for vintage sailing enthusiasts and professionals.
Founded in 1929 with the support of the city and the Yacht Club de Cannes, the Régates Royales have their roots in the aristocratic tradition of the roaring twenties, when kings and nobles chose the Riviera as the ideal setting for off-season challenges.
The 2025 edition will feature majestic Big Boats, refined historic monohulls, and IOR Classics, some traveling as far as from New Zealand, in a duel among legends that have written unforgettable pages in sailing history.
Cannes Bay, protected by Cap Roux and Cap d’Antibes, once again offers a spectacular racecourse, with conditions ranging from gentle breezes to mistral winds, ensuring thrilling and breathtaking scenarios.
Organized by the Yacht Club de Cannes, with the support of institutions, sponsors, and media partners, the Régates Royales promise an unforgettable week combining sport, tradition, and glamour.
