September 2026 is set to begin with a lively programme of events at the Condamine Market, one of the most authentic and popular locations in the Principality of Monaco. Live music, traditional gastronomy and games will take centre stage in a series of initiatives designed for residents, families and visitors alike.
Promoted by the Monaco City Hall, the programme aims to highlight the market not only as a key destination for shopping and gastronomy, but also as an important space for social interaction and community life in the heart of the Principality.
The first event is scheduled for Thursday, September 3, from 6:30 pm to 9:00 pm, with the Apéro Musique Live. Visitors will have the opportunity to enjoy the relaxed atmosphere of La Condamine, combining an aperitif with live music for an evening dedicated to entertainment and conviviality.
On Saturday, September 5, at 10:00 am, the spotlight will turn to Monegasque culinary tradition with an event dedicated to Barbajuans, one of the Principality’s most iconic gastronomic specialities. The public will be able to watch a demonstration of how these traditional delicacies are prepared, followed by a tasting session.
The programme will continue on Wednesday, September 9, from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm, with an afternoon dedicated to games and social interaction. The initiative is designed as a shared experience for different generations, creating new opportunities for people to meet and enjoy one of the city’s most vibrant public spaces.
The final event of the month will take place on Saturday, September 26, also from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm. The afternoon will feature some of the great classics of strategy and board games, including chess, bridge and backgammon, offering participants an opportunity to enjoy competition, entertainment and conviviality.
With this programme of events, the Condamine Market further strengthens its role in the daily life of the Principality of Monaco. Alongside its historic commercial and gastronomic identity, the market continues to serve as an important meeting place for both residents and visitors.
The September programme confirms the ambition to make La Condamine an increasingly important hub for the local community, bringing together culture, flavours, entertainment and social life. For visitors, it offers another opportunity to discover an authentic side of Monaco, while residents can enjoy new occasions to experience and share one of the Principality’s most beloved neighbourhood spaces.
