As part of the organisation of upcoming international motor racing and cycling events in the Principality of Monaco, the Department of Urban Development (DAU) is launching a new road resurfacing campaign, scheduled from 16 February to 19 March 2026.

This large-scale operation aims to ensure the quality, safety and durability of the road network, in preparation, as every year, for the Monaco Grand Prix, as well as for the exceptional hosting of La Vuelta, a major international cycling event.

Work organisation and traffic management

In order to limit disruption to traffic, all works will be carried out exclusively at night, with specific and enhanced signage in place.
Temporary road closures and parking restrictions will be implemented, along with targeted information for local residents.

👉 Emergency services and police vehicles will retain full access to all areas in case of emergency.
👉 Pedestrian routes will be maintained, secured and clearly signposted throughout the works.

Affected bus routes will be diverted from 8:00 p.m., with information provided by the Monaco Bus Company.
Users of impacted car parks may, upon request, be offered temporary parking solutions in nearby facilities.

Although these works may cause temporary inconvenience, they are essential to maintain a high-performance and sustainable road network, for the benefit of all users.
