To make access to help faster and simpler, the Government of the Principality of Monaco has activated a new helpline dedicated to victims of violence: 39 19. Free of charge, easy to dial, and identical to the number already in use in France, this service replaces 0800 91 90 10, offering a direct connection to the Association d’Aide aux Victimes d’Infractions Pénales (AVIP).
Through 39 19, victims of abuse can receive confidential information and guidance regarding various forms of violence, including:
sexual violence and rape,
domestic and family violence,
workplace harassment,
assaults and harassment in any context.
This initiative is part of the Committee for the Promotion and Protection of Women’s Rights action plan, reaffirming Monaco’s commitment to providing a fast, effective, and respectful response to situations of violence.
For all other emergencies, the numbers 17 and 112 remain active.
