An Event of Excellence in the Heart of the Principality

On October 23, 2025, the elegant restaurant La Table d’Élise (2 Rue du Portier, Monaco) will welcome the Gastronomic Jury of the 23rd AVPA International Contest “Les Huiles du Monde” – Southern Hemisphere Edition, organised by the AVPA – Agency for the Valorization of Agricultural Products.
From 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., renowned chefs, gastronomic journalists, and international producers will gather to celebrate olive oil excellence and explore authentic and innovative flavours from the southern half of the globe.

This prestigious meeting serves as a bridge between culture, taste, and sustainability, uniting expertise and passion in an exceptional setting in the heart of Monaco.


Exploring the Treasures of the Southern Hemisphere

During the session, the international jury and AVPA representatives will present a selection of rare and refined olive and gourmet oils, showcasing an authentic agricultural savoir-faire and centuries-old traditions.
Each oil tells the story of the rich terroirs of the Southern Hemisphere – from Argentina to South Africa, Australia to Chile – where climate and craftsmanship combine to create products of unique sensory character.

The goal is to promote taste and territorial diversity and to spread a new culture of premium olive oil in Europe, fostering connections between producers, experts, and gastronomy enthusiasts.

More than a competition, the AVPA Gastronomic Jury is a celebration of taste, craftsmanship, and heritage.
