On November 6, 2025, the prestigious Yacht Club de Monaco will welcome the second edition of the World Caviar Awards, an international event founded by Laurent Morin and dedicated to celebrating one of the world’s most exquisite products: caviar.

Under the High Patronage of H.S.H. Princess Yasmine Murat, Princess of Pontecorvo, this event embodies the luxury, savoir-faire, and culinary tradition that make caviar a universal symbol of refinement and culture.

The secret was to create a credible and transparent project built on shared values — passion for the product, respect for craftsmanship, and the desire to share it with consumers,” explains Laurent Morin, founder of the World Caviar Awards.

After a successful first edition in 2024 at Grand Barrail in Saint-Émilion, the event now comes to Monaco, more ambitious than ever.

Bringing this second edition to Monaco means offering caviar a prestigious, cosmopolitan stage, where tradition, innovation, and refinement come together,” adds Morin.

🕊️ A Competition of Excellence

At the heart of the event is a blind tasting featuring the finest caviars from 20 countries — including Russia, Iran, France, Italy, China, and the United States — evaluated by a jury of Michelin-starred chefs, gastronomy experts, and distinguished personalities from Monaco, under the supervision of judicial officers.

Each caviar will be judged anonymously and impartially according to strict criteria: appearance, texture, balance, and flavor persistence.
Two categories will be awarded:

  • Farms (Fermes): producers who raise the fish and make their own caviar.

  • Retailers/Affineurs: professionals who select, refine, and market caviar.

🍽️ A Sensory and Culinary Experience

Beyond the competition, the World Caviar Awards will offer a true gastronomic experience: a prestige cocktail tasting followed by an exclusive “100% caviar” dinner crafted by ten hands, created by renowned international chefs.
An intimate, high-profile evening reserved for 220 privileged guests, where caviar will take center stage in every dish.

Caviar is no longer reserved for an elite — it has become a true ingredient of haute cuisine, inspiring chefs while preserving its aura of rarity,” says Morin.

🌍 Monaco: The Natural Stage for Luxury and Savoir-Faire

The World Caviar Awards 2025 aim to celebrate the diversity and cultural richness of caviar, offering an international showcase for producers and highlighting a culinary heritage of timeless excellence.

Monaco perfectly embodies the art de vivre we wish to celebrate. Bringing this project here is a true source of pride,” concludes Laurent Morin.

On November 6, the Principality of Monaco will establish itself as the world capital of caviar — a day dedicated to heritage, elegance, discovery, and excellence.
