One Festival, Five Venues, Endless Musical Worlds
The 76th edition of the Menton Music Festival, under the artistic direction of maestro Paul-Emmanuel Thomas, once again brings exceptional music to the heart of the Riviera. From July 22 to August 8, 2025, five iconic venues – including the elegant Palais de l’Europe and the stunning Basilica of Saint Michael – will host a rich lineup of concerts designed to create a dialogue between eras, cultures, and musical genres.

The festival opens on July 23 with violinist Nemanja Radulovic and the Orchestre Double Sens delivering a vibrant baroque program featuring Vivaldi and Bach. On July 26, tenor Pene Pati will join ensemble Il Pomo d’Oro in a passionate tribute to the golden age of Neapolitan song. On July 28, chamber music takes center stage with acclaimed performers Renaud Capuçon, Kian Soltani, and Mao Fujita playing Schubert’s and Brahms’ Trio No. 1.

On July 31, Bertrand Chamayou will dedicate an entire piano recital to Maurice Ravel, marking the 150th anniversary of the composer’s birth. The program continues with pianist Alexandra Dogan (August 5), interpreting works by Beethoven, Chopin, Franck, and Prokofiev, and culminates on August 8 with harpsichordist and conductor Justin Taylor leading the Orchestre de l’Opéra Royal de Versailles in a concert devoted to Bach.

Music for All – Even Under the Stars
Beyond the headline concerts, the festival offers special moments: afternoon performances at the Salon de Grande-Bretagne featuring emerging talents, and three free open-air evenings. On July 22, the Romain Leleu Sextet takes the stage; on July 24, the Joven Orquestra de Cuenca; and on July 25, the Janoska Ensemble, providing a magical fusion of music and landscape.

With a program ranging from baroque to contemporary, jazz influences to folkloric tributes, the Menton Music Festival confirms itself as one of Europe’s most anticipated summer events – blending excellence, beauty, and discovery.
