In 2025, Les Ballets de Monte-Carlo celebrate their 40th anniversary with a rich and varied 2025/2026 season, featuring new creations, great classics revisited and prestigious guests.

The curtain will rise on October 23–26 at the Salle Garnier with See You, the first piece created by Paul Lightfoot for the company, presented alongside Herman Schmerman by William Forsythe and a dedicated workshop. In December, a double anniversary: the 50th anniversary of the Académie Princesse Grace (December 18–19) and the premiere of Jean-Christophe Maillot’s Ma Bayadère, a contemporary re-reading of La Bayadère, performed with the Monte-Carlo Philharmonic Orchestra (December 27 – January 4).

In spring, the company will present Miniatures (April 16–19), a collective project combining contemporary composers and choreographers, followed by the extended version of Core Meu (April 28–30), featuring live music by Antonio Castrignanò & Taranta Sounds. June and July will see the Académie Gala (June 19–20) and, most notably, the 40th anniversary Gala (July 3–4 at the Grimaldi Forum), whose program remains secret. Summer will welcome guest companies such as Compagnie Humaine with Waku Doki (July 10–11) and the Ballet de l’Opéra National de Paris with John Neumeier’s La Dame aux Camélias (July 17–19).

Beyond the stage, the season includes workshops, educational projects, museum performances, and an international tour reaching Venice, Bari, Madrid, Seoul, and Barcelona.

Equally significant is the 50th anniversary of the Académie Princesse Grace, founded in 1975 by Princess Grace and Prince Rainier III and today directed by Luca Masala. With 53 students from 19 countries, the school continues to shape the next generation of international dance talent. Celebrations include the December 19, 2025 performance at the Salle Prince Pierre, a special edition of the Imprévus (March 26–28, 2026) in collaboration with Pavillon Bosio, and the year-end Gala (June 19–20, 2026) with new creations inspired by Giselle.

A landmark season, celebrating the past while embracing the future of dance.
