The seven pre-selected novels for the Coup de Cœur des Lycéens 2025 were revealed this Wednesday, October 16. Under the guidance of their Literature teachers, the jury, composed of second-year students from Lycées Albert I, François d’Assise Nicolas Barré, and Rainier III, will participate throughout the year in various events: debates, meetings with authors, round tables…
The seven works selected for this new edition are as follows:
The students will meet in April to select the novels they want to include in the shortlist, and they will have the opportunity to meet the authors in June. Then, they will vote for their favorite book at the beginning of the next school year, and the winner will be announced during the Prince Pierre Foundation’s Award Ceremony, which takes place every year in October. This year, Cécile Tlili won the award for her novel Un simple dîner, published by Calmann-Lévy.
Created in 2007 in collaboration with the Directorate of National Education, Youth, and Sports, the Coup de Cœur des Lycéens, which rewards a first novel, is endowed by the Princess Grace Foundation with a prize of 6,000 euros.
