Extension of the rockfill works at Larvotto beach

Due to several days of unsettled weather, which has notably caused heavy swells, the works that began on January 2nd at Larvotto — involving the removal of geotubes and the construction of eco-designed rock islets — have had to be temporarily suspended for safety reasons and to protect the marine environment.

As a result, this operation, which was initially scheduled to be completed by Wednesday, April 30, will be extended by one week, until Wednesday, May 7 inclusive.
Also, as a protective measure for users, sea bathing and diving will be prohibited until that date in the areas marked on the map below.

Restaurants and shops within the beach complex will remain open with no restrictions.

Running from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., these works aim to protect Larvotto beach and stabilize the shoreline to ensure safe access to swimming areas.
