Le Citron Givré 2026: Run for Solidarity at the Heart of the Fête du Citron

The Municipality of Menton, in partnership with the Menton Marathon association, is delighted to announce the second edition of “Le Citron Givré”, the charity run held as part of the official programme of the 92nd Fête du Citron.
The event will take place on Saturday 21 February 2026, from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., on the scenic Esplanade des Sablettes.

An internationally renowned event, the Fête du Citron celebrates citrus culture every year with spectacular parades of decorated floats, artistic displays in the Biovès Gardens, craft markets and live entertainment, welcoming more than 250,000 visitors each edition.

Sport, celebration and solidarity

“Le Citron Givré” is more than just a race: it is a joyful and inclusive event open to runners, families and friends, combining physical activity, festive spirit and social commitment. Participants are encouraged to run in creative costumes, bringing colour and fun to this unique sporting celebration. The race distance is 5 km, accessible to all.

Practical information

• Date: Saturday 21 February 2026

• Time: Start at 10:30 a.m. – Finish and award ceremony at 12:00 p.m.

• Location: Esplanade des Sablettes, Menton (start and finish)

• Course: 2.5 km loop run twice, passing through the Esplanade des Sablettes, Stade Rondelli and the Old Port of Menton

• Entry fee: €15 (single rate)

Supporting a meaningful cause

All registration proceeds will be donated to SOS Grand Bleu, an organisation that has been working for over 35 years to protect the marine environment and conserve dolphins and whales in the Mediterranean Sea.
Its actions include awareness campaigns, seabed clean-up operations and educational programmes for young people. Members of SOS Grand Bleu will be present on race day to meet participants and present their work.

Registration is now open and managed via the Timing Zone platform. The fee includes the official race bib and access to all activities related to the event.
