On Monday, December 22, 2025, the Musée départemental des Merveilles in Tende will host a special screening of the beloved animated film The Nightmare Before Christmas, a classic holiday movie directed by Tim Burton, designed for families and fans aged 8 and up.
The event is free of charge until full capacity, and will take place from 2:30 PM to 3:45 PM, with the mandatory presence of an adult companion for children.
The screening follows the adventures of Jack Skellington, the “Pumpkin King” of Halloween Town, as he discovers the wonders and contrasts of Christmas, blending magic, fantasy, and fun, and offering one of the most cherished moments in animated cinema.
The event is part of the museum’s end-of-year cultural program, which also includes activities focused on discovering the local area and celebrating the holiday season.
