H.S.H. Princess Stéphanie, Patron of the Prince’s Carabinieri Corps, presented the Corps insignia to the 8 trainee Carabiniers of the “Némorin Lignon” Class.
This military ceremony took place today on the helicopter landing pad of the Moneghetti Barracks, in the presence of Colonel Tony Varo, Superior Commander of the Public Force, Lieutenant Colonel Maxime Yvrard, Chief of the Fire Brigade, and the families of the new recruits.
After the welcome by Lieutenant Colonel Martial Pied, Head of the Corps, and the troop review, the Company’s Banner was presented to the future Carabiniers. Then, the Patron presented them with the insignia, blessed by Father Christian Venard, Chaplain of the Public Force.
The ceremony concluded with the Monegasque national anthem performed by the Prince’s Carabinieri Orchestra along with the entire military personnel.
The young recruits took their oath to H.S.H. the Sovereign Prince and His Family on May 12, 2025, thus committing themselves to serve Them with “Honor, Loyalty, and Dedication,” as stated in the Corps’ motto. They will officially begin their duties on May 19.
