The celebration of the 20th anniversary of H.S.H. the Sovereign Prince’s reign, to be held on Saturday, July 19, 2025, at the Palace Square, and offered to Monegasques from 6:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m., will require adaptations for pedestrians, motorists, and public transport.

Therefore, on July 19 from 12:00 p.m., the Palace Square will be “secured,” and vehicle traffic will be regulated until 4:00 p.m. Access to Monaco-Ville via the Rampe Major will remain possible, as well as access to all shops located at the ends of Rue Basse, Rue Comte Félix Gastaldi, and Rue Emile de Loth.

From 4:00 p.m. onwards, access to the Palace Square will be restricted to authorized vehicles only. Pedestrian access will also be controlled and allowed exclusively to individuals with a badge.

Then, between 5:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m., all invited guests may present themselves at the checkpoints (at the start of the Rampe Major and in the three alleys leading to Palace Square: Rue Basse, Rue Comte Félix Gastaldi, and Rue Emile de Loth) with their invitation card, Monegasque identity card, or residence card (for spouses of Monegasques).

As for access to Monaco-Ville, authorized vehicles will still be able to use Avenue de la Porte-Neuve. Public buses operated by CAM will continue to circulate, and travel across the entire network will be free of charge on that day.

The Oceanographic Museum of Monaco will remain open, as will the Chemin des Pêcheurs car park.

The Little Train will operate from 5:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., providing shuttle service up to the Rock.

For persons with reduced mobility only, an access badge for the Rock may already be obtained from the Monaco Town Hall (protocole@mairie.mc or +377 93 15 29 19). This badge will allow vehicle drop-off only, before 6:00 p.m.

Please note: Visits to the Prince’s Palace will be suspended from July 17 to July 20 inclusive, from 5:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m., and there will be no Changing of the Guard from July 15 to July 20 inclusive.
