On September 20 and 21, 2025, Le Cannet invites residents and visitors to immerse themselves in the richness of its historical, artistic, and cultural heritage on the occasion of the European Heritage Days.
For an entire weekend, the city will become an open-air museum, offering a program full of guided tours, exhibitions, workshops, and urban explorations.
The Musée Bonnard will be the centerpiece, open free of charge from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. In addition to its permanent collections, visitors will enjoy the exhibition “Un certain regard – Chefs-d’œuvre de la Collection Sidarta”.
Cinétoile Rocheville: on Saturday, September 20 at 11 a.m., a guided visit through contemporary architecture, cutting-edge projection technologies, and an exhibition of vintage projectors.
Le Cannet Town Hall: guided tours (3 p.m., 4 p.m., and 5 p.m.) exploring the Belle Époque façade of the former Hôtel des Anges, the city’s coat of arms woven in Aubusson, and the evocative Wedding Hall.
Historic Rocheville: on Sunday, September 21, guide Karine will lead a journey through the district’s evolution, from Place Foch to the Saint-Charles des Carrières church, highlighting local traditions such as the Saint John’s festival.
Throughout the weekend, a free urban rally in Vieux-Cannet will be available, to be completed independently with a game booklet provided at the Tourist Office.
From 2 p.m. to 6 p.m., several historic buildings will exceptionally open their doors, including Sainte-Catherine d’Alexandrie Church, Saint-Sauveur Chapel, Notre-Dame-des-Anges Chapel, Maison Cosmétatos, and, on Sunday only, the Bastide du Loup.
