In Beausoleil, architecture becomes emotion and storytelling through the exhibition “Regards sur l’architecture beausoleilloise”, open until January 9, 2026, at the Centre Histoire et Mémoire Roger Bennati. The exhibition invites residents and visitors alike to rediscover the city’s urban landscape through a fresh, sensitive and unexpectedly insightful perspective: that of children.
The photographs on display were taken by pupils from the École des Cigales, young photographers who captured façades, hidden corners and architectural details often overlooked in everyday life. The result is an authentic visual journey that highlights Beausoleil’s identity and its deep connection to history and collective memory.
Each image tells a story: building lines, light reflections and decorative elements come together in a personal and poetic interpretation of urban space, offering a renewed vision of the city’s architectural heritage as seen through the eyes of the younger generation.
This initiative forms part of the city’s broader cultural programme aimed at preserving local history and passing on architectural heritage through participatory and educational projects that actively engage the community.
The exhibition is free to enter and open to the public during the following hours:
– Monday to Thursday: 9:00 am – 12:30 pm and 1:30 pm – 5:00 pm
– Friday: 9:00 am – 12:30 pm and 1:30 pm – 4:00 pm
