Must-See Tours

  • Vieux-Nice, a journey through history and traditions – Every Tuesday at 2:30 pm and Friday at 9:30 am, meeting point: Centre du Patrimoine – Le Sénat (14 rue Jules-Gilly).

  • When Nice Invented the Riviera – Every Thursday at 9:30 am, retracing the era when Nice became the heart of the French Riviera.


Historic Site Visits

  • The Archaeological Crypt (Place Jacques-Toja) – Wednesdays, Saturdays, and Sundays at 2:00 pm, 3:00 pm, and 4:00 pm.
    Special session on Wednesday, August 27 at 2:00 pm.

  • EXPO -115°5, The Bay of Angels and the Evolution of the Landscape – Every Monday at 9:30 am.

  • Port District – Every Tuesday at 9:30 am (meeting point: Charles-Félix statue, Square Guynemer).

  • Mont-Boron, between nature and panoramic views – Every Thursday at 9:30 am (panoramic terrace, Bus 30 stop Miramar).

  • The Depths of the Promenade – Every Friday at 9:30 am, meeting point Quai Rauba-Capèu in front of #ILoveNice.

  • Nice and Matisse – A journey through the artist’s favorite places with a short visit to the Matisse Museum. Scheduled for Thursday, August 7 and 21 at 2:00 pm. Travel by public bus (ticket not included).


La Castellada: Theater and History under the Stars

From August 8 to 19, as dusk falls, the Castle Hill transforms into an open-air stage. With live music, period costumes, special lighting, and immersive storytelling, the city’s most iconic episodes come to life: Catherine Ségurane’s bravery, the destruction of the Castle, and Garibaldi’s legend. A magical experience for all ages.


The Bellandarium

Perched high above the Bay of Angels, the Bellanda Tower offers one of the most beautiful panoramic views of Nice, while recounting the thousand-year history of Castle Hill.

  • Opening hours: Tuesday, Wednesday, and Saturday from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm and 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm; Thursday from 9:00 am to 12:30 pm.

  • Current exhibition: Nissa Briqua – When the House of Savoy Protected Nice’s Harbor, also displayed in the Archaeological Crypt.
