The Urban Planning Department and the Friends of the Princess Grace Rose Garden Association are organizing the Public Award ceremony as part of the 7th International New Roses Competition, this Wednesday, June 19th at the Princess Grace Rose Garden.
On this occasion, and for the first time, a charity sale of prize-winning roses from previous editions of the competition will be held starting at 10 AM to raise funds for the Princess Grace Foundation (minimum price of €10 per rose – limited quantities).
In 2024, marking the 40th anniversary of the Princess Grace Rose Garden, numerous activities will be offered to the public throughout the day: treasure hunt for children, guided tours to (re)discover the Rose Garden, watercolor exhibition by Tony Szabo, and creation of a collective artwork under the guidance of the artist Mr OneTeas.
The celebrations will conclude with the Public Award ceremony at 4 PM, followed by the unveiling of the collective artwork and a musical performance to fully enjoy the Rose Garden until evening.
