Monaco is strengthening its commitment to entrepreneurship and innovation with a new opportunity for ambitious startups and business founders. MonacoTech, the Principality’s business incubator, has opened applications for its next support programme, targeting projects with a solid foundation and clear prospects for commercial development.
Applications must be submitted online through the official website, monacotech.mc, by 17 November 2026. The call is also open to international applicants: Monegasque citizenship is not a requirement. Instead, the selection process focuses on the maturity of each project, its viability and its growth potential within Monaco’s business ecosystem.
The call offers two distinct pathways designed to meet the needs of businesses at different stages of development.
The incubation programme is intended for entrepreneurs looking to consolidate their projects, develop growth strategies and establish relationships with Monaco’s economic and institutional stakeholders. Its goal is to support business development and facilitate integration into the local entrepreneurial ecosystem.
The Entrepreneur en résidence programme is aimed in particular at international startups and serial entrepreneurs seeking to accelerate their expansion and establish a presence in the Principality.
Both programmes provide participants with access to expertise, professional connections and resources to help them address the challenges of scaling their businesses.
Selected businesses will benefit from structured support built around four key areas:
The programme goes beyond operational support, aiming to foster valuable professional relationships that can contribute to the growth and long-term development of participating businesses.
The call is designed for projects that have moved beyond the initial idea stage and are ready to pursue tangible development. Applicants must have a working prototype, positive market feedback and a commercial launch planned within the next 18 months.
Priority sectors include:
However, applications are not restricted to these fields. Projects in other sectors may also be considered if they demonstrate concrete potential and align with the development opportunities offered by Monaco.
The selection process will take place in three stages between late 2026 and early 2027.
The first deadline is 17 November 2026, the final date for submitting an online application. Video interviews with shortlisted candidates are scheduled for December, followed by a final pitch before a panel of experts in January 2027.
Successful applicants are expected to officially join the MonacoTech programme in March 2027.
Entrepreneurs interested in applying can find further information and submit their applications through the incubator’s official website: www.monacotech.mc.
Through this new selection process, MonacoTech is giving startups and entrepreneurs an opportunity to develop innovative projects in an environment focused on collaboration, growth and professional networking.
For businesses with a working solution that are aiming to reach the market within a defined timeframe, the programme offers a potential gateway into Monaco’s entrepreneurial ecosystem. The initiative also forms part of the Principality’s broader efforts to encourage innovation and attract businesses capable of contributing to its economic development.
The key deadline is 17 November 2026. Applications must be submitted online by this date.
