The Stade Nautique Rainier III in Monaco will temporarily change its access arrangements due to a film production taking place in the Principality. The changes will be in effect from Sunday, August 23 through Saturday, August 29, 2026, inclusive.
The facility will remain open: the swimming pool will continue to operate normally, but the usual entrance from Quai Albert 1er will be closed to the public during this period.
From 3 p.m. on Sunday, August 23, visitors to the Stade Nautique Rainier III will need to use an alternative route.
Access will be provided through the gate located above the Le Nautic restaurant, which can be reached via Route de la Piscine. Visitors will need to use the Louis Chiron car park elevator to reach this entrance.
The temporary arrangement has been introduced to allow the film production to take place while keeping the sports facility operational.
Visitors wishing to use the stairs should be aware of a specific restriction. During the production period, the stairs will only be accessible before 10 a.m. or after 6 p.m.
Signage will be installed on site to indicate the temporary route and help visitors reach the correct entrance to the Stade Nautique Rainier III.
The Hercule Fitness Club will also remain open throughout the period affected by the access changes.
The fitness centre will be accessible through its usual entrance, but only from Route de la Piscine. Access from Quai Albert 1er will not be available during this period.
Anyone planning to use the swimming pool or fitness centre between August 23 and 29, 2026 should keep the following information in mind:
The temporary access changes are exclusively related to the organisational requirements of the film production. The Monaco City Hall asks visitors to follow the signage on site and thanks the public for their understanding.
