Just a few days after its official opening, the Hartford Fine Art Lampronti Gallery Monaco has already established itself as one of the new reference points for Old Masters art in the Principality of Monaco. The official opening, held on April 25, 2026, was met with an outstanding public reception and strong interest from the international art collecting community.

Located at 21 Boulevard Princesse Charlotte, the gallery is directed by Cesare Lampronti and positions itself within a highly competitive environment, standing out for a curatorial approach focused on Old Masters and the great European pictorial tradition.

A collection of masterpieces by Canaletto, Guido Reni, and European masters

Inside the gallery, around thirty works of Old Masters art are on display, including paintings, sculptures, and high-quality museum-level pieces. Among the highlights are four masterpieces attributed to Canaletto, an intense Saint Francis by Guido Reni, as well as works by masters such as Guido Cagnacci and Luigi Vanvitelli.

The gallery’s approach is based on a rigorous and coherent selection aimed at showcasing works that represent the continuity and expressive power of European classical painting across centuries.

International presence at Art Monte-Carlo at the Grimaldi Forum

Building on its successful opening, the Hartford Fine Art Lampronti Gallery is also featured in the international art fair Art Monte-Carlo, hosted at the Grimaldi Forum Monaco and open to the public until May 1, 2026.

Among 26 selected exhibitors, the gallery presents a curated selection of around twenty Old Masters works designed to engage an international audience of collectors, curators, and art professionals.

A highlight of the presentation is a painting by Claude Lorrain, considered alongside Nicolas Poussin one of the greatest masters of ideal landscape painting, blending nature and classical harmony in a timeless vision.

The opening of the art season was further highlighted by the institutional presence of H.R.H. Princess of Hanover and H.S.H. Prince Albert II of Monaco, who also inaugurated Monaco Art Week, confirming the Principality’s central role as an international hub for the art market.

In this highly selective context, Monaco continues to strengthen its position as a meeting point for galleries, collectors, and cultural institutions, reinforcing its identity as both a financial and cultural capital.

A new reference point for Old Masters in Monaco

The Hartford Fine Art Lampronti Gallery Monaco aims to stand out for quality, historical rigor, and curatorial vision, consolidating a strong presence in both the Monegasque and international art scenes.

The gallery’s objective is to build a high-level exhibition program that combines research, collecting, and the promotion of European artistic heritage.

A first thematic exhibition is also planned for September 2026, on the occasion of the Monaco Yacht Show, one of the most important events in the Principality’s calendar.

With this new presence, Monaco further strengthens its position as an international crossroads for Old Masters art and the high-end cultural market.
