The Sospel Carnival returns with a new edition celebrating creativity, tradition, and entertainment, turning the town of Sospel into a vibrant open-air movie set.

The event will take place on Sunday, April 12, 2026, at the Stade municipal, a scenic venue located at around 350 meters above sea level, offering a festive afternoon full of color, music, and activities.

A carnival inspired by modern cinema

This year’s theme is cinema from the 2000s to today, paying tribute to the most iconic films and characters of recent decades. The event combines traditional carnival spirit with a modern and immersive concept suitable for all ages.

Program highlights: entertainment, stalls, and parade

Activities will begin at 1:00 PM with the opening of stalls offering confetti, face painting, drinks, and crêpes.

The highlight of the day will be the grand parade at 2:00 PM, which will take place along Avenue Jean-Médecin, featuring costumes inspired by popular films from the 21st century.
