Dîner-Opéra at Hôtel West End in Nice: A Spectacular Lyrical Evening on April 10, 2026

After a sold-out season, Hôtel West End in Nice announces a special date for its famous Dîner-Opéra: on Friday, April 10, 2026, Le Siècle restaurant will host a unique event combining Mediterranean haute cuisine and live opera in an exclusive setting on the Promenade des Anglais.

Created in 2019 by soprano Laurie Jauffret, a graduate of the Nice National Conservatory, the Dîner-Opéra format is inspired by the “singing waiters” concept: singers integrate with the service staff and, during the meal, surprise guests with lyrical arias between courses. The result is an immersive experience blending art, conviviality, and delight, transforming dinner into a true live performance.

For this extraordinary evening, the restaurant will host four opera artists together for the first time: tenor Gilles San Juan, countertenor Jérémy Bertini, baritone Mickael Gedj, and soprano Vanessa Fouillet, joining the ensemble in a unique formation. The mix of complementary vocal timbres promises a powerful harmony, accompanied by a musical program ranging from the classical repertoire to baroque opera.

Founded in 1842, Hôtel West End was the first hotel built on the Promenade des Anglais and remains a symbol of Belle Époque architecture in Nice. With 121 rooms, many overlooking the Baie des Anges, the hotel combines historical charm with contemporary touches.

Le Siècle restaurant offers traditional Mediterranean cuisine and flambé dishes, creating a culinary show for guests. Its sea-facing terrace allows visitors to fully enjoy the elegant atmosphere of the French Riviera. During the summer season, the terrace hosts live concerts and aperitifs, while the Horse Guard Bar provides an intimate and stylish environment in winter.
