The Monaco Run Gramaglia 2026 is set to return to the streets of the Principality. On Saturday 14 and Sunday 15 February, Port Hercule will be the focal point of a major sporting weekend, with 4,500 runners expected and six race formats on the programme: the Trail du Mont Agel (30 km), City Trail, 10 km, 5 km, children’s 1,000 m races and the Pink Ribbon Walk.
To ensure the smooth running of the event, traffic and parking restrictions will be in place in several strategic areas:
Quai Albert Ier will be closed to traffic from 12 February at 00:01 until 15 February at 14:00.
On race mornings (14 and 15 February), temporary closures will affect quai des États-Unis, route de la Piscine, darse Sud, avenue J.-F. Kennedy, boulevard Louis II and avenue Princesse Grace, with manual traffic control in certain sections to allow access for residents and hotel guests.
Parking will also be prohibited in numerous areas between 12 and 15 February, particularly along the race routes.
Urban bus services operated by the CAM will be diverted on Sunday 15 February, from the start of service until around midday.
From a sporting perspective, the 2026 edition promises a very high international level. Among the most anticipated athletes:
Diane Van Es, holder of the European 5 km record set in Monaco in 2025;
Jana Van Lent, who recently broke the European 10 km record;
Alessia Zarbo, a leading figure in French athletics and national record holder in the 10 km and half marathon;
Mike Foppen, the Dutch athlete with a personal best of 13’08 over 5,000 m on the track.
The Trail du Mont Agel will also attract strong attention, with the top two finishers from 2025 returning: Sébastien Poesy, defending champion, and Théo Le Boudec, aiming to improve on the reference time of 2h26.
The Running Expo Village, set up on Quai Albert Ier, will welcome runners and spectators with 12 partners, activities, entertainment and a guided course preview of the 5 km and 10 km races scheduled for Saturday morning.
For the second consecutive year, runners will be able to take part in the solidarity bib initiative, supporting four partner charities: the Monaco Association for the Protection of Nature, Pink Ribbon Monaco, the Flavien Foundation and Les Enfants de Frankie.
Key figures include:
15% international participants
40% of French runners coming from outside the Alpes-Maritimes (06)
62% men and 38% women
With the support of 180 volunteers and 40 organising committee members, Monaco Run Gramaglia 2026 confirms its status as a flagship sporting event, blending performance, popular participation and solidarity, and turning Monaco into a true European running capital for one weekend.
