Books take center stage once again on the French Riviera: on November 29 and 30, 2025, Roquebrune-Cap-Martin will host a new edition of “Lecture en Fête”, the much-loved literary event that brings together authors, readers, publishers, and book lovers in a vibrant celebration of the written word.
For two lively days, the town will become an open-air literary salon, welcoming more than 80 authors ready to meet their readers, sign books, share experiences, and take part in literary debates and discussions on writing, publishing, and cultural trends.
Among the highlights, two special exhibitions will pay tribute to key players in the local publishing scene: the first will celebrate the 80th anniversary of Nice-Matin through a selection of its most emblematic front pages, while the second will honor the 10th anniversary of Gilletta Jeunesse, the publishing house that has inspired generations of young readers.
A special comic book area (BD) will also feature artists, illustrators, and enthusiasts, offering workshops and interactive sessions for both children and adults.
With its warm, convivial atmosphere, “Lecture en Fête” confirms itself as one of the Riviera’s must-attend cultural events of the autumn season — a celebration of creativity, exchange, and the joy of reading.
