From October 4 to 18, 2025, Monaco will host the 20th edition of the International Organ Festival, featuring four concerts that showcase the city’s prestigious instruments.
The Festival opens on Saturday, October 4, at the Cathedral, where Olivier Vernet will perform emblematic works by Bach as part of the Jubilee celebrations dedicated to Saint Thomas Aquinas (1225–1274–1323). A relic of the Saint will also be displayed on this occasion.
On Friday, October 10, also at the Cathedral, the Festival will welcome a very special guest for its anniversary edition: American organist Cameron Carpenter, one of the most acclaimed musicians of his generation, whose visionary approach has redefined the image of the organ and turned his concerts into thrilling experiences.
On Saturday, October 11, at the Sacré-Cœur Church, organist Gunnar Idenstam and violinist Lisa Rydberg will perform a unique program blending Bach’s repertoire with Swedish folk melodies.
The Festival will conclude on Saturday, October 18, at Saint-Charles Church, with the Pêr-Vari Kervarec Trio, previously heard in Monaco during the Princely wedding. Their music evokes the ancient Breton sites of the Grimaldi family, building a living bridge between history, sacred spaces and contemporary audiences.
Four distinct but complementary musical worlds, exploring the full expressive range of the organ — from traditional works to folk-inspired pieces and contemporary sounds.
Concerts at 8:30 pm. Free admission subject to seating availability.
