Just 45 minutes from Cannes and 30 minutes from Grasse, nestled in the peaceful Var countryside, the Grand Jardin of Fayence is once again welcoming visitors for a summer of beauty, culture and conviviality. From 9 to 18 August 2025, the charm of this historic estate will host the new edition of the Salon des Antiquaires, an unmissable event for lovers of art and rare finds.
Once the residence of the Countess de Villeneuve, and for many years lovingly maintained by Michel and France Allongue, the Grand Jardin is a haven of Provençal elegance: a bastide surrounded by terraced gardens, shaded by centuries-old plane trees, where every detail invites you to slow down and savour the sweetness of life.
Today, Élise, Jeanne and Rose, daughters of the former owners, have taken over with passion, adding a contemporary and creative touch while preserving the estate’s authentic soul. “Taking over the Grand Jardin means safeguarding a heritage, but also breathing new life into it, making it livelier and more inspiring. We want it to be an open, elegant and joyful place,” says Élise Allongue.
For ten days, 40 exhibitors from across France and Italy will transform the Grand Jardin into an open-air salon, showcasing antique furniture, works of art, 20th-century design, curiosities and tableware. A refined and eclectic selection that blends tradition with modernity.
Throughout the Salon, the Grand Jardin restaurant will be open for lunch and dinner: tables under the plane trees, generous dishes prepared with fresh ingredients, and carefully selected wines, offering a gastronomic experience to complete the visit.
