Saint-Laurent-du-Var once again becomes an open-air arena with the Beach Sport Festival 2025, the signature summer event blending top-level sports, live music, and meaningful solidarity.
Organized in partnership with CAP3000, the festival draws thousands of athletes, families and spectators every year, offering a free and accessible programme that brings life to the seaside for over a month.
The festivities kick off on 6 July with the debut of the Coupe de France of Footvolley, a thrilling sport born on the beaches of Brazil and now gaining momentum in France thanks to the dynamic Footvolley Club Laurentin.
Next up:
ITF BT200 Beach Tennis (10–13 July): an international stopover featuring players from around the world.
French Beach Volleyball Championship (18–20 July): the nation’s top duos return for the fourth consecutive year, thrilling crowds on the Mediterranean shore.
Open de France 3×3 Basketball Finals (24–27 July): hosted by the sea for the first time, blending dunks, DJ sets and street culture vibes.
On 22 July, the Cousteau Beach will host a special charity concert by Kendji Girac, celebrating 10 years of his career with a heartfelt live performance. All proceeds will be donated to three impactful associations:
AFM-Téléthon
Ligue contre le cancer
Attrap’la Balle, founded by the parents of Jo-Wilfried Tsonga to promote tennis as a tool for social inclusion.
On 2 July, the Children’s Day will welcome young festivalgoers with free workshops and games, organized by local sports associations.
On 5 July, the adrenaline-charged Riviera Flag Bowl returns, a national beach flag football tournament mixing sport and entertainment on the Laurentin sands.
“The Beach Sport Festival is the beating heart of our city,” said mayor Joseph Segura, thanking institutions, volunteers and citizens for their continued support of an event that “brings together sport, culture and, above all, humanity.”
