From July 2 to 27, 2025, the Métropole Nice Côte d’Azur transforms into an open-air stage with Fest’OFF, the “festival within the festival” that brings life to the city and its surroundings during the renowned Nice Jazz Festival.
From Cap Ferrat to La Roquette-sur-Var, sidewalks, squares, and markets become scènes vivantes, vibrant stages where music meets everyday life. The free program blends genres and cultures, spanning jazz, funk, ska, hip-hop, rock, and global sounds.
With more than 90 artists performing in 12 towns – including Nice, Saint‑Jean‑Cap‑Ferrat, Lantosque, Saint‑Martin‑Vésubie, Eze, and Colomars – the event celebrates live music, shared creativity, and public spaces.
Highlights include:
Piano du Lac (July 2, 9, 16, 23 – Saint‑Jean‑Cap‑Ferrat): floating sunset concerts between sky and sea.
Ouiches Lorènes (July 12–13 – Lantosque & La Trinité): ska and funk in a playful “gastro-rhythmic acoustic” format.
Les Fo’ Plafonds (July 19 – Place du Palais de Justice, Nice): urban music with recycled instruments, echoing the 2025 theme of marine conservation.
Desmadre Orkesta & Lazcar Volcano (July 19–24): Argentinian brass bands and vocal-electronic fusion across the valleys and Nice.
NOJO – Nice Orléans Jazz Orchestra (July 22–27): French Touch meets New Orleans under the direction of James Andrews.
Radio Kaizman, Beatboxmaton, Factoria Circular, Imperial Kikiristan, Gipsy Pigs Fissa Papa, Poboys, and Le Gros Tube (July 23–27): brass bands, sound installations, and street concerts at Place Masséna, Miroir d’eau, and central markets.
International previews: student bands from the Wyoming Ambassadors of Music (June 22) and Philadelphia Jazz Orchestra (July 8) will also perform.
Saint‑Jean‑Cap‑Ferrat: July 2, 9, 16, 23
