Mobile Service for Special Household Waste Disposal Launched in Monaco
A new eco-friendly initiative is underway in the Principality: the mobile mini-recycling station, designed to make it easier for residents to safely dispose of special household waste and reduce environmental impact.
Officially launched on March 7 and 8 during the MonaCollecte event at Quai Antoine I, the project is a collaboration between the SMA (Monaco Sanitation Company) and the Government of Monaco.
From now on, the mobile unit will operate once a month on Saturday mornings, from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM, in a different neighborhood each time, bringing recycling services closer to the residents.
A Free Service for Easier Waste Disposal
Aimed primarily at private individuals, the service helps prevent the prolonged storage of hazardous materials at home and makes proper sorting easier. No need to travel far—waste collection comes to your neighborhood in a safe and eco-responsible way.
SMA personnel will be on-site to:

handle and process waste responsibly,

answer any questions regarding proper disposal,

distribute information materials,

provide pre-sorting bags and dog waste bags.
