Simon Ardiss to be Ordained as Permanent Deacon in Monaco

Born in 1971, he shared 26 years of marriage with Maria, who passed away in May 2023 after a long illness. Together, they had three children: Michael (born in 1999), Sebastian (2001), and Nicholas (2005).

He spent most of his professional life as an entrepreneur in the agri-food sector. In 2013, after earning an MBA, he began a new chapter focusing on corporate governance, supporting companies and organizations in improving the structure and effectiveness of their boards of directors.

Deeply committed to parish life, he is an active member of the Saint-Charles Church community, where he serves as a churchwarden. He is also involved in the Christian Initiation Service for Adults and sits on the Diocesan Pastoral Council. He is a member of the Équipes Notre-Dame and serves as spiritual advisor for a team of EDC (Christian Entrepreneurs and Leaders).

His spiritual and social commitment also includes being a Knight of the Order of the Holy Sepulchre of Jerusalem and a member of the Society of Saint Vincent de Paul, where he continues to serve those most in need.
