The Princely Government announces the opening of online registrations for the 2025-2026 school year for primary and secondary schools in the Principality, both public and private contracted schools.
The procedures are accessible via computer, tablet, or smartphone 7 days a week, 24 hours a day, through the portal MonGuichet.mc (Education section). Additionally, for those who wish to or are unable to complete the process online, paper registration forms are still available by contacting the Directorate of National Education, Youth, and Sports (DENJS) or the chosen school.

Registering your child in primary schools

Any child aged 3 or older, or who will turn 3 during the first trimester of the school year, who is Monegasque and/or a resident in the Principality of Monaco, is eligible to register in a public or private contracted school. In other cases, a request for exemption must be submitted to DENJS.
Registrations for public schools are open from Monday, January 6 to Friday, March 21, 2025.
Registrations for private contracted schools are open from Monday, January 13 to Friday, March 28, 2025.

Registering your child in secondary institutions

Monegasque students and/or residents in the Principality of Monaco, as well as students with exemptions already enrolled until the 3rd grade in a Monegasque public school, are eligible for registration. In other cases, a request for exemption must be made to DENJS.
For Collège Charles III, registrations are open from Thursday, May 1, 2025 to Friday, June 20, 2025.
For Lycée Albert Ier and Lycée Rainier III, registrations are open from Monday, January 13 to Friday, June 20, 2025.
For Lycée François d’Assise-Nicolas Barré, registrations are open from Monday, January 13 to Monday, June 2, 2025.

Post-baccalaureate courses at Lycée Rainier III

Registrations are open from Wednesday, January 15, 2025 to Wednesday, April 2, 2025 (1st phase).
• BTS Support for Managerial Activities (SAM) or BTS Accounting and Management (CG) or Diploma in Accounting and Management (DCG): More information here.

Registering your child in classes with adapted schedules for sports practice

Online registrations for adapted schedule classes will be open from Monday, March 17 to Thursday, May 15, 2025.

Exemption requests

An exemption request must be made in the following cases:
• Residence: for any registration of a person residing outside the Principality and of a nationality other than Monegasque.
• Sector: for any registration in a primary school outside of the geographic area of residence (see school district map).
• Age: For any child whose age does not correspond to the required level for registration (particularly for early preschool registrations).

Exemption requests are open from January 1 to May 1, 2025, except for residence-related requests, which are open from January 1 to May 15, 2025.
