As the festive season approaches, Monte-Carlo Société des Bains de Mer is gearing up to deliver a rich program of elegance and enchantment. From November 30, 2024, to January 5, 2025, the iconic Place du Casino will transform into a magical wonderland inspired by this year’s theme: “Magical Christmas Moments.”

Opening Ceremony: Lights On and Festive Magic

On November 30 at 6:30 PM, Place du Casino will officially kick off the festivities with the illumination of decorations and the launch of a rich lineup of events, performances, and surprises. At the heart of the celebrations, the square will host spectacular installations, including the famous giant snow globes, this year dedicated to the “magical moments” of Christmas traditions such as Advent calendars, tree decorating, Christmas Eve, and the joy of gift-giving.

The centerpiece will be an 18-meter-tall Christmas tree surrounded by a variety of not-to-miss animations:

  • Christmas Choirs: December 21, 22, 24, and 25, from 1:00 PM to 4:30 PM.
  • Christmas Mapping Show: A spectacular light projection on the Casino façade every hour from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM on Fridays and Saturdays starting December 6, and daily during the school holiday period (December 21 – January 5).
  • Meet Santa in Monte-Carlo: From December 21 to 25, between 1:00 PM and 4:30 PM, Santa will be greeting visitors on the square and throughout the Resort.
  • New Year’s Eve Festivities: DJ sets by Luca Onere and Jo Paciello on December 31 from 10:30 PM to 1:30 AM, alongside a spectacular countdown light show.

Stellar Gastronomy: Unique Experiences for the Holidays

With 30 restaurants and bars, and a remarkable 7 Michelin stars, Monte-Carlo Société des Bains de Mer is the ultimate destination for luxurious holiday dining.

Signature Holiday Treats:
This year’s must-try dessert is the “Mon Chalet Douillet”, crafted by Maxime Reriouedj of Café de Paris Monte-Carlo, winner of the 2024 SBM Festive Entremet Contest. Featuring flavors of chestnut, coconut, Menton lemon, and banana, this exquisite creation is available at the Resort’s restaurants or for takeaway at Mada One.

For unique culinary gifts, visit the “Christmas by Our Chefs” pop-up store in the Jardins des Boulingrins, featuring delicacies such as Alain Ducasse’s panettone, Yannick Alléno’s honey-saffron brioche, and Dominique Lory’s spiced breads. Open daily from 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM.
