H.E. Mr. Didier GUILLAUME led the Monegasque delegation* on November 7, 2024, in Budapest, Hungary, to participate in the 5th meeting of the European Political Community.
As with previous summits, this high-level meeting aimed to promote dialogue among European partners on the security challenges facing Europe and to strengthen cohesion and cooperation.

More than 40 Heads of State and Government, as well as the Presidents of the European Parliament, the European Council, and the European Commission, along with the Secretaries General of NATO and the Council of Europe, and representatives of the OSCE, participated in discussions and roundtables specifically focused on migration and economic security issues.

Upon his arrival, the Minister of State was welcomed by Hungarian Prime Minister Mr. Viktor ORBAN and had the opportunity throughout the day to hold informal exchanges with numerous European Heads of State and Government.
H.E. Mr. Didier GUILLAUME also held several bilateral meetings with the Prime Minister of Luxembourg, the Prime Minister of Croatia, and the Heads of Government of Andorra and San Marino to discuss various topics of common interest.

Alongside the Summit, Mrs. Isabelle BERRO-AMADEÏ, Government Counselor – Minister of Foreign Relations and Cooperation, was invited, along with some of her counterparts, to a working session chaired by Mr. Péter SZIJJARTO, Hungarian Minister of Foreign Affairs.

The next European Political Community summit is expected to take place in Tirana, Albania, during the first half of 2025.
